About Me
I have always danced in one form or another (ballet, modern, podium!) and really enjoy all types of music. I stumbled upon Bellydancing by accident in 2004 and have been hooked ever since!
I currently teach 2 classes a week in Duffryn, Newport and Marshfield, Castleton where ladies of all abilities and ages get together to learn new choreographies and make friends. Please see details below and contact me directly if you have any further questions
Along with my former teacher, Sue Soliman (Safeena), I have recently been fortunate to dance for Kelaty Rugs in the majority of their stores across the country. This was an unique experience and helped to raise my profile throughout the south west. I regularly dance at Haflas (bellydance parties) showing off my unique "Arabic Fusion" style. I am constantly looking to improve my own skills and regularly attend bellydance workshops in a number of styles to further my own knowledge and pass this on to my students.
I am available to dance at parties, weddings and other such functions. I can work to your budget and tailor a performance to any length that you need, please contact me and we can discuss your requirements. I have also been a chosen speaker for a number of WI organisations in South Wales.
I feel very stongly that Bellydancing can be enjoyed by all ladies of any physical ability and size. Bellydancing can help to improve core strength, posture and flexibility and you can enjoy a fitness exercise that incorporates dance moves without the high impact as well as having some fun!
I hold a current Instructor and Perfomers Public Liabilty Insurance certficate which means that I can come to you and teach or perform if required. I also have a full Red Cross First Aid Certificate and am fully CRB checked
